Aerosols are allowed in the cabin, within limits. Here is what those limits are and how to pack them.

The liquid rule

Aerosols, gels and creams count as liquids. Each container must hold no more than 100 ml, and all of them must fit in a single transparent bag of about one litre.

Aerosols specifically

Most airports allow a small deodorant or hairspray within the 100 ml limit. Larger cans go in checked baggage, subject to the airline’s own rules on aerosols and dangerous goods.
