How Flightright meets its regulatory, anti-money-laundering and data protection obligations as a registered legal services provider.

A regulated service
Flightright is registered as a debt collection service provider under Section 10(1)(1) RDG and is supervised by the Federal Office of Justice. We maintain the internal controls, records and training that registration requires.
Anti-money-laundering
We carry out identity verification proportionate to the value and risk of a payout, monitor transactions for anything unusual, and report where the law requires it. Records are kept for the statutory period.
Data protection
Our data protection management system is built on the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act. Processing is documented, minimised, and reviewed; access to claim data is limited to the teams who need it.
Reporting a concern
Anyone — including a customer, an employee or an airline — can raise a compliance concern in confidence by writing to service@flightright.com. Concerns are reviewed independently of the teams they relate to.
